North Paulding High School
STATUS: Construction Phase 2
START DATE: Spring 2023
COMPLETION: January 2025
SUMMARY:
• Project will be constructed in two phases. • 40 Instructional Units (Phase 2) including: Science Labs; CTAE Labs; Physical Education Space; Media Center Upgrades • Cover the open courtyard and convert into an expanded dining room (begins Phase 1). • Additional serving line in lunchroom. • 200+ additional parking spaces.
TIMELINE Phase 1 (approved - to begin spring of 2023) • Retaining wall construction and parking lot expansion. • Clearing, grading, ground contouring, water retention. • 6 mobile classrooms on parking lot. • Even though mobile classrooms will be placed on the parking lot, there will be a net increase of parking spaces in Phase 1 for August 2023. • Dining room expansion dried in but not yet complete Phase 2 (proposed) • Anticipated contract approval in summer of 2023 • 3-story, 40-classroom addition • Dining room expansion complete • Extra serving line • Media center upgrades • 6 mobile classrooms removed from parking lot • Anticipated opening date January 2025

Northside Elementary School
STATUS: Construction
START DATE: Summer 2024
COMPLETION: Summer 2025
SUMMARY:
A 20-classroom addition is planned, bringing the school to a grand total of 64 classrooms to accommodate the growing community.

- Includes modifications to parking and driveways to accommodate new building and provide additional parking and vehicle queueing.
- Includes enclosed connection to main building for enhanced safety and security.

Roberts Elementary School
STATUS: Construction
START DATE: Spring 2024
ANTICIPATED COMPLETION:
- Sewer Project: Summer 2024
- Renovation/Modification Project: Summer 2024
- 16-Classroom Addition: Summer 2025
SUMMARY:
Renovation and Modification Projects: refresh the school’s systems and finishes. Partial funding by the GA DOE Capital Reimbursement Program reduces cost impact to PCSD.
- New LVT flooring; gym floor refinishing; new quarry tile; painting walls, doors, and trim
- New HVAC, fire alarm, intercom, LED lighting, and plumbing upgrades
- Addition of generator to maintain power for critical systems and areas
- New flat roof, new gutters and downspouts, and roof restoration services
- New cooler and freezer
- Repairs to doors, frames, windows, etc.
16-classroom addition: will bring the school to a grand total of 59 classrooms to accommodate the growing community.
- Includes new multi-purpose STEM Lab.
- Includes restrooms, staff workroom, and storage.

Baggett Elementary School
STATUS: Complete
START DATE: Spring 2024
SUMMARY:
Robertson Loia Roof Architects was contracted to design the project in the Summer of 2023. • Scope includes both critical and non-critical infrastructure. • Partial funding by the GA DOE Capital Reimbursement Program reduces cost impact to PCSD. • RK Redding Construction has been contracted as the Construction Manager to complete this project. • Project is slated for completion in the Summer of 2024.

Fine Arts Upgrades
The Fine Arts program upgrades funded from E-SPLOST VI have been identified, with a scope of work currently being finalized that will then be released for solicitation through PCSD's procurement process. The projects will focus on upgrades to sound, stage lighting, and stage curtains for all five high schools. Once vendors have been selected through the procurement process, with subsequent BOE approval where applicable, work will be scheduled for each location to be completed as soon as possible to ensure the maximum benefit for each school's Fine Arts program.
