From BPI Photography As the end of the school year approaches and we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2025, we’re excited to share an improvement to this year’s graduation experience! We will be using a new selfie registration software to help deliver graduation images to students and families more quickly than ever. The registration process takes less than a minute to complete.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2025
Paulding County School District’s 2025 summer school provides an opportunity for all currently enrolled Paulding County School District students in grades 8 to 12 to recover high school level credits attempted throughout the school year. Opportunities for new credit are available with prior approval. All courses are offered in an online format via Edmentum software with our teachers/facilitators. All grades for summer school will be available to the districted school once the summer school session has ended.

PCSD Retirement Luncheon 2025
The Paulding County School District held its 2025 Retirement Luncheon on Friday, May 2, at the Paulding County Senior Center. The event honored retirees for their outstanding service, commitment, and contributions to the district.

On April 30, 2025, State Superintendent Richard Woods presented three Paulding County schools – East Paulding Middle School, Sammy McClure Middle School, and Paulding County High School – with Math Leader award banners.

PCSD Hires New Transportation Director
PCSD has hired Sissy Summerville to lead the district's Transportation Department, overseeing approximately 400 employees, including 300 bus drivers. She follows longtime Transportation Executive Director Trey Studstill who retired March 31. Click here to learn more about Ms. Summerville.

Special Education Parent Survey
The Georgia Department of Education is surveying parents of students with disabilities throughout Georgia. It is critical that the GaDOE assist local school systems in partnering with families to raise the achievement rate for students with disabilities. Completing this survey will assist in achieving this goal.
