    Classroom Expectations

    1. Follows Directions (follows classroom procedures, rug rules, hallway procedures, restroom rules, uses walking feet)
    2. On-Task Behavior (inside voices, table talk, completes work in a timely manner, does his/her personal best)
    3. Respectful to other Students (wait your turn, uses kind words, and keeps hands & feet to self)
    4. Respectful to the Teachers (listening ears, looking eyes, participates and pays attention)
    5. Respects Materials, Equipment, Manipulatives & Classroom (gentle and correct use, tidy tables & floors)

     

    BEHAVIOR CALENDAR Please review your child’s behavior daily. The number(s) circled/highlighted indicate where your child was struggling to meet expectations & follow the SOCIAL CONTRACT.

    Papers will come home each week.  This will be work that we have practiced throughout the week together.    All other work should be viewed as having been completed independently.  Please remove all papers and return the folder with your signature, date, and papers needing a parent signature. Please take time to look through and discuss all papers with your child.  This is a great “ooohhh” and “aaahhh” moment for you, as well as a time for you to monitor your child’s progress in class.  Please know that not all papers will be graded with a 1,2, or 3….some papers may have checks, stickers, or will be student graded

     

     

    Students will be able to have a snack during recess each day. This is a snack that you will provide from home.  Please try to send in nutritious snacks if possible. Water is the only drink that is allowed. The water fountains may only be used to refill water bottles.

    At this time no outside food is allowed. Please consider celebrating your child's special day in another way such as: a non-edible treat (bubbles, pencils, erasers) or by donating a gift in their honor to be enjoyed in the classroom all year (books, board games, outdoor equipment for the playground).
