            Hello! My name is Mrs. Spiva and I am your child's teacher for this year.

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a teacher and when I was a senior in high school I knew that it was a passion I was eager to pursue in college. Although teaching is a passion of mine, it took me a bit longer to earn my degree because life happens and while it took me several years to get my degree I created a family along the way. With this passion and support from my family, I was able to complete my degree later in life. This experience has taught me so many wonderful things but the most important is to never stop dreaming and to follow your passion. I hope to instill this philosophy into my students lives as well. My interests include being a wife and mother to my 3 children. I love cooking, painting, and crafting. I was born in Florida but raised in Georgia so I love the beach and the lake. In my spare time I also love reading, thinking of new recipes, and being with my family.
