Overview:
In accordance with Senate Bill 289, students in grades 3-12 may request to participate in online learning programs. Approval is subject to the availability of physical and technological infrastructure within the school.
Requesting Online Courses:
Students may request one online course either as part of their regular school schedule or independently outside of school hours.
During School Hours:
- Requests require counselor and administrative approval.
- Course availability depends on school infrastructure and supervision.
- No cost to students for courses taken during the school day. (In the student regular schedule)
- Course options are available through the district online course catalog, Georgia Virtual School, and other state-approved providers.
After School Hours:
- Requests require counselor and administrative approval.
- Students are responsible for tuition costs.
- Course options are available through the district online course catalog, Georgia Virtual School, and other state-approved providers.
Registration Window:
Applications for online courses open annually from April 1 to July 1 for the upcoming school year. The registration window closes on July 1, with a new application period opening each spring for future academic years.

You will receive notification that it has been received.
The school counselor will be notified of your submission at the close of the enrollment window.
