• Accountability Overview

    CCRPI

The Paulding County School District is held accountable by the Georgia Department of Education through the College and Career Ready Performance Index - CCRPI. CCRPI is the annual tool used to measure how well our schools, district and state are preparing students for the next educational level. It provides a comprehensive roadmap to help educators, parents, and community members promote and improve college and career readiness for all students.

The CCRPI includes five main components, each scored on a scale of 0 to 100: Achievement, Progress, Closing Gaps, Readiness and Graduation Rate (high school only). The CCRPI also reports other information, such as the performance of student subgroups, school climate, and financial efficiency status. The CCRPI calculations were updated for 2023 as part of Georgia's state plan for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) addendum approved 10.4.2023.

    SWSS Contract

The Paulding County School District maintains a high level of accountability for the District and for each individual school. Through the Strategic Waivers School Systems (SWSS) contract, each school will be held accountable for increased student achievement as measured by the College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI). The SWSS contract became effective July 1, 2024, and will remain in effect through June 30, 2030.

SWSS flexibility allows the PCSD to strongly accomplish our mission and vision to engage, inspire, and prepare all students for success today and tomorrow through our 5 core beliefs: We believe in preparing students for success is our first priority. We believe in fostering a culture of high expectations in student achievement and personal development. We believe all students are inspired to learn when provided rigorous and relevant instruction and positive relationships. We believe in providing an environment which is safe, challenging, inclusive and both physically and mentally healthy. We believe in the use of collaborative learning communities where best practices are partnered with data-driven decisions. Flexibility provided by specified waivers allows the PCSD to make adjustments in academic programs, human resources, and finance to meet the goals of our strategic plan.
