Welcome to our Kindergarten page!

During our first two weeks of class, we will be learning all about the rituals, routines, and expectations in the music classroom. We will be learning how to use instruments properly and what the correct technique is to play the instruments. We will also be learning how to move around in our own space and keep a social distance from other students, but still enjoy music together. We will also be learning about the incentives in the music classroom and how to earn chips and class dojo points! We will be creating our own class contract which allows us to come up with standards and rules we can all agree and adhere too! Music is going to be so much fun and an awesome envirnment to be creative and learn all about our hidden talents together!

 Welcome to the 1st grade Music Page! 

During the first two weeks of class, we will be reviewing all the rituals, routines, and expecations of the music classroom. We will be learning how to play instruments with the proper technique. We will be learning how to stay socially disatanced from our friends, but still enjoy beautiful music together. We will be reviewing how to earn chips and class dojo points as incentives! We will also be creating our own social contracts as a class where we can all agree and adhear to the expectations! Music is going to be so much fun this year! It is going to be a place where we can explore our wonderful creative hidden talents!

Welcome to the 2nd grade Music Page!

During the first two weeks of class, our students will be reviewing the rituals, routines, and expecations of the music classroom. Students will be reviewing proper instrument technique and how to treat the instruments with care. We will be practicing social distancing while still enjoying beautiful music together! We will also be reviewing how to recieve class dojo points and earn chips in the music classroom as well as creating our own social contracts for our class to abide by! We will be exploring our own and each others wonderful musical creativity and hidden talents!

Welcome to the 3rd grade Music Page!

During the first two weeks of school, our students will be reviewing the rituals, routines, and expectations of the music classroom. We will be reviewing proper instrument techinques and how to play them properly. We will be the incentive prorgam in the music classroom which includes earning chips and class dojo points. We will also be practicing social distancing and still enjoy music together. Our classes will be creating social contracts that we can all agree on and abide by as our rules for our class. We will be reviewing some of the basic musical concepts learned in the younger grades as well! 

 Welcome to the 4th and 5th grade Music Page!

During the first two weeks, our students will be reviewing the rituals, routines, and expecations of the music classrooms. We will also be taking surveys on what the students musical tastes are and what musical concepts they would like to learning about. We will be review how to play the instruments with proper technique and care. We will be learning how to keep the instruments clean and ready for the next set of students to use. We will also be reviewing the basic musical concepts learned in year prior, such as rhythm, steady beat, the musical alphabet, pitch, etc. We will also be working on projects that will help us become better musicians in middle school. We will be exploring our own and each others hiddle musical talents and it will be so much fun!
