• Hello,

I want to welcome you and your child to 1st grade. My name is Lindsey Davis and I am going to be your child’s teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. I am very excited to be a part of your child’s educational development. I am from Haralson County, graduated from the class of 2014! I then graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2018 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree at Piedmont University. This is my second year teaching 1st grade at Union Elementary and I have loved every minute of it!

Some background information about me, I have been married for almost 2 years now. My husband and I have been together for over 10 years and we are now expecting our first child in January 2021. I am currently a fur mom to a dog, Sarabell and a cat, Miss Kitty. During my free time I love to do DIY projects, arts & crafts, travel, shop, and hangout with my friends & family! I have always had a great love for children so getting to work with your children everyday is a dream come true. I love laughing and dancing so do not be suprised if your child thinks I am silly! :) I am a true beleiver that learning can be fun & I hope I can show your children that as well.

Overall, I am so thrilled about serving your child’s educational needs. I will ensure your child’s learning experience in 1st grade is fun and engaging while also practicing a safe learning environment. It is my hope that each child will be successful and develop a love for learning. In the Cactus classroom we love to dance, sing, grow together, and build a strong community. Even thogh this year may look a little different, I know we have a wonderful year ahead of us full of learning, laughter, and growth!. I have truly enjoyed working with students in the 1st this past year and can not wait to enjoy learning with each of my students!

If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at lldavis@paulding.k12.ga.us or through the office phone at 770-443-4191. I look forward to seeing your child's smilling face and working together this school year.
