• Dear Parents/Guardians,

I want to take the time to personally welcome you to the Speech and Language program at Allgood Elementary

Here is a little bit of information about myself.  I am so excited to start this school year. I have been at Allgood Elementary for 9 years and with the Paulding School district for 19 years. I really enjoy helping students communicate better. Please visit my website if you need any speech/language resources. I have worked with children of all ages with speech and language impairments and disabilities. I am highly certified, holding a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia and I have my teaching certificate in the area of Speech-Language Pathology.

These first few weeks of school I look forward to meeting your child, conducting classroom observations, taking baseline data related to your child’s specific speech-language goals, as well as establishing a rapport. Therapy at school as well as home practice is vital for your child’s speech and language services to be most beneficial.  Your child will be assigned speech and language homework. The most efficient and safe way to work on their goals and objectives will be encouraged. I encourage you to have your child practice with you at home and in various settings!

Please know that you do not have to complete the homework the day it comes home.  I would ask that you try to complete the homework by the following week and explore fun ways to incorporate this in your daily routines.  Your child will be receiving awards and prizes as incentive for doing his or her homework.  If some of the items are to difficult or your child resits completing the homework, please feel free to write me a note or contact me.  I will be happy to give you suggestions and tips to make speech homework more enjoyable for everyone!

You can contact me by leaving a message with the front office or you may e-mail me at srobinson@paulding.k12.ga.us.  I look forward to assisting your child to reach his / her speech and language goals!

    Sincerely,

    Stacey Robinson
