Hello, My name is Jessica Kirkham.

In 2005, I graduated from Shorter College with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

In 2008, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Masters in Early Childhood Education.

In 2011, I graduated from KSU again with a Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology.

I also hold an additional certificate for teaching Middle Grades Social Studies and a gifted endorsement.

15 years of teaching experience, 12 in 5^th grade and 3 in 4^th

I teach 4^th grade social studies and reading. This is my 16^th year teaching, and 4th year teaching 4^{th grade}. I spent 12 years in 5th grade, but all at Union. I am a wildcat myself and I have a special place in my heart for this school and its students and staff. 

My husband, Rob and I have been married for 10 years. We have two sons, Bert who is 6 and will be starting first grade and Samuel who is 18 months old.  We enjoy traveling and taking care of our many chickens. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, photography, and crafting. 

I look forward to teaching new faces and learning together.
