Hello everyone! My name is Gaylynn Mills. I am married (Michael) with 2 grown boys (Shawn and Christopher) and 2 granddaughters. My husband and I grew up in New Orleans but have lived in Georgia the past 20 years. I enjoy reading, spending time with family and outdoor activities.

I graduated from Kennesaw Stat University in 2007 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued my education through Walden University where I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, then completed the Reading Endorsement program through RESA. I believe reading is the most important subject, therefore it is my favorite subject to teach.

This is my 5th year teaching 2nd grade and my 6th year at Union. I love to see the growth students make in 2nd grade, not just academic.
