South Paulding High

Hello and welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at South Paulding High. My name is Gary Jones. This year I will be teaching Algebra 2 classes. Teaching is my second career. I have 30 years of work experience in the private business sector and this will be my 18th year of teaching. I have taught AP Economics, Marketing, International Business, Middle Grades mathematics and various high school math classes. I try to keep the teaching focus on identifying and processes. I try to keep those two as simple as possible as well. There is a great deal of emphasis on student responsibility with this class. Attendance is a must. Keeping up with their grades and grade trends is a must for them as well as the parent. I send out email notifications of failing students with every progress report.
