I am incredibly honored and excited to continue serving McClure Middle School as your principal. My name is Tammy Ponder, and it has been a privilege to lead this remarkable school community. Many of you know me from my years as one of McClure’s Assistant Principals and, before that, from my work in opening North Paulding High School in 2007. Throughout my career as both a teacher and an administrator, I have seen firsthand the exceptional potential of our students and the strength of our McClure family.

Over the past year, we have grown together through changes in our student body and staff, always anchored by the values exemplified by our namesake, Mr. Sammy McClure Sr. Integrity, hard work, service to community, and commitment to growth remain at the heart of everything we do.

Building a successful school is a collaborative effort, and I am grateful to partner with our outstanding teachers, staff, parents, and students as we continue our mission of Empowering Today’s Learners to become Tomorrow’s Leaders. Together, we will sustain an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

As we enter this new school year, I remain committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility. My role is to support and empower each member of our school community as we work together to achieve our goals.
